Tomorrow it happens:
"Israel Today" launches a new website - faster, safer and more convenient to use, which will provide surfers with a more successful experience than ever before.
After a comprehensive upgrade process of our digital channel, from now on you can receive the contents of "Israel Today" - the website, widgets and digital edition of the printed newspaper - in an improved and agile format.
The new site loads faster than before, and the browsing experience is much better: more content is displayed on the screen, sharing is easier than ever, and the home page has more video and audio content available to you, including live broadcasts and podcasts from the creator of "Israel Today".
Direct access to the content channels, as well as the content search interface, have also been improved.
With the additional innovations on the site, it is possible to include the option of reading articles, and later also listening to music on streaming.
In addition to the renewal of the site itself, the "Israel Today" widgets for Android and iPhone have also been improved - as have the dedicated widgets for displaying the digital edition of the printed newspaper.
The "Israel Today" website currently has more than four million users a month - who now, thanks to the upgrade of the digital channel, will be able to enjoy it in a version they have not experienced before.
"The Israel Today website is updated around the clock, including flashes and live broadcasts," said "Israel Today" editor Boaz Bismuth.
"The move to upgrade Israel Today's digital product offering has been accompanied by a change in internal workflows in the newsroom, with the aim of providing surfers with the content they love - faster, richer and in convenient formats for consumption on mobile phones and desktops."
"Israel Hayom" CEO Amir Finkelstein added that "after the rapid growth in the volume of surfing and the number of users of Israel Today's digital assets, as part of the upgrade of the digital products system, the ways in which advertisers in Israel can reach surfers have also been improved." We have renewed our focus on improving the browsing experience for readers, as well as increasing the value for advertisers.
We have increased the efficiency of advertising units, and with tools like the customer club we can provide advertisers with access to targeted audiences. "
Last year, "Israel Today" won Google's Innovation Challenge in the Middle East and Africa, and established the "Israel Today" clique benefits club as part of it.
The project topped the list of winning projects, selected from 527 bids submitted in 35 countries.
The "Clique": Read articles, watch videos - and earn points that entitle you to equal discounts
One of the main innovations on the upgraded site is the "Israel Today '" Club of Benefits "benefits club, which allows surfers to earn points - and receive discounts on products and services.
To start earning points, you can register for the club - using the registration buttons at the top of the site, or in the club component on the home page.
After registering, you will start earning points for reading articles, sharing, watching videos and listening to Israel Today podcasts.
Did you score enough points?
You can exchange them for benefits: coupons that you can redeem online or at businesses.
The number of points varies from benefit to benefit, and is presented in the explanation of each benefit.
Want to view existing benefits, coupons available to you or your number of points?
Go to the personal area of the club by clicking on your user data or the pupil icon at the top of the page.
And of course, there is no membership club without friends and girlfriends.
If you want to show others benefits that may interest them, share the benefit with them via the share buttons, and they too will be able to enjoy it - immediately after they also sign up for the "Israel Today" clique club.
Please note that the use of the coupon offered in each benefit has an expiration date, and if the coupon has expired - you will not be able to redeem it.
And one more thing you must not forget: once every three months, at pre-determined times, the points you have accumulated will be reset if you have not yet used them.
do not worry!
Immediately after that you will start accumulating points again.
