The Foreign Ministry will launch a large-scale shipment of medical equipment to India starting tomorrow (Tuesday), in aid of a country currently facing a severe corona crisis.
The assistance package will include, among other things, thousands of group and individual oxygen generators - which are necessary for the Indian health system immediately - respirators, medicines and other medical equipment.
Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi: "The extension of emergency aid is an expression of the deep friendship between the countries in India's difficult times. This is the meaning of the much-needed mutual guarantee in this period of the global corona crisis. Israel-India relations are strategic on a wide range of political and security issues.
