The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population announced the registration of 1078 new infections and 62 deaths from the Coronavirus during the past twenty-four hours.
The spokesman for the ministry, Dr. Khaled Mujahid, said in a statement that the total number of Coronavirus infections in the country has so far reached 230,713, and the total deaths have reached 13531 cases.
Mujahid indicated that 432 recoverers of Coronavirus infection have been discharged from hospitals, bringing the total of those recovering to 172774 people until today.
