Strangers had dropped around 40 chickens in a family's driveway on Friday night.

Until Sunday evening it was unclear who the animals belong to.
But then, according to the police, the owners reported to the involuntary poultry farmers and picked up the animals again.
As the police had already suspected, it is apparently a dubious joke.
The family, which suddenly had the chickens in their driveway, has come to an agreement with the "pranksters".
For the police, the case is closed.
"Since there were actually no indications of a criminal offense and a violation of the current curfew cannot be proven, the case was filed by the police," a statement said.

For a family in Adelshofen, May began with a big surprise. There was a lot of cackling in her garage entrance. Unknown pranksters had released around 40 chickens there on Friday night. So that the animals stay there, two construction fence elements were placed in front of the entrance.
Where the poultry come from is still a mystery to the police.
The officials asked the larger chicken farmers in the area.
But nobody missed the animals.
The involuntary chicken keepers made the best of the situation.
The feathered guests were housed in an improvised enclosure under a trampoline.
At least the family was able to collect the first eggs laid.
However, the question arises: where to put the animals if the owner can no longer be found?
Therefore, the police asks on the telephone number (0 81 41) 61 20 for information on the owners.

Unknown joke cookies allowed themselves a free night classic in the Johannishöhe in Kottgeisering.
There, garbage cans, garden chairs, a snow shovel and a tire were piled on top of each other.
There was no damage.
The owners just had to get their property back.
In contrast, the act of some young people in Germering was not at all funny.
On Friday night they were caught by a security guard breaking out parts of the wall in the underground car park.
By the time the police arrived, the perpetrators ran away.
The damage done is around 1000 euros.
