“Through numerous letters and phone calls, we all experience every day how much numerous citizens still long for their Covid 19 vaccination. We as Upper Bavarian district administrators agree that the state vaccination centers, which are operated by the local district administrative authorities, must be continued as the backbone of the vaccination strategy, at least in the medium term, ”said Bruck district administrator Thomas Karmasin, chairman of the Upper Bavaria district association in the Bavarian district assembly.
“With all recognition of the achievements and the commitment of the resident doctors - which we absolutely need and which must be further expanded: The vaccination centers are currently the guarantee for the high daily vaccination rates, on which we are still urgently dependent.
We are therefore resolutely opposed to a hasty change of strategy and clearly advocate the continued operation of the vaccination centers at least for the next few months ”, Karmasin continued.
All 20 district administrators of Upper Bavaria, regardless of their party affiliation, are organized in the district association of Upper Bavaria in the Bavarian District Association.
