Oberalting-Seefeld - The alarm went off at 5:17 p.m. According to the police report, the 16-year-old son had discovered the fire in the outbuilding of the family home. The roof structure was already on fire, there was a risk that the fire could spread to the main building. “We were there at 17:24,” reported Wagner, commander of the Oberalting-Seefeld fire brigade. The residents had already tried to at least contain the flames with fire extinguishers and garden hoses. The rescue workers brought the fire under control within minutes, and the operation was over at 7:01 p.m. Also because an overpressure fan was used, the main building, unlike the extension, is still habitable. "The smoke pollution is kept within limits," said Wagner.

The Oberalting-Seefeld fire brigade was on site with five vehicles, the Drößling fire brigade also came to support with one vehicle, Wagner puts the number of rescue workers at 35.
