Coinciding with the celebrations marking the 76th anniversary of the victory over Nazism in World War II, the Russian Cultural Center in Damascus today held an artistic concert in which the center's students, including dancers and musicians, participated.
The ceremony included a group of traditional dances of the peoples of the Russian Federation and a number of well-known Russian folk songs, followed by a distribution of sweets to the children who attended the ceremony.
The ceremony was attended by a large audience of interested Syrians and members of the Russian community, and the official attendance was the officers of the Russian-Syrian Reconciliation Center, the Chargé d'Affairs of the Russian Embassy in Damascus, in addition to the administration and workers at the center.
It is noteworthy that the Russian Cultural Center in Damascus, in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, will hold a central ceremony in this regard on May 8th, on the stage of the Opera House.
