During its weekly session, the Council of Ministers headed by Eng. Hussein Arnous, Chairman of the Council, decided to grant the wounded PDF, with a disability of between 40 and 65 percent, a monthly compensation of 50,000 pounds for a period of ten years.
The Council also decided to add 18 billion and 972 million Syrian pounds to the funds of the Reconstruction Committee in the 2021 budget, in order to enable it to continue the work of rehabilitating the damaged infrastructure and public facilities.
The council approved a plan for networking between the agricultural and industry sectors and developing agricultural industries by rehabilitating their facilities and creating incentives for their advancement, encouraging investment in them, addressing problems that encounter them, and focusing on supporting value-added industries and expanding their export base .. The concerned ministries were tasked with developing implementation programs.
The council also discussed the draft law related to the Ministry of Defense’s procurement and sales system, which aims to simplify procedures related to securing the needs of the Ministry and its affiliates with the required efficiency, achieving the principles of transparency, fair competition, flexibility, and keeping pace with the reconstruction phase.
The Council listened to a presentation on the measures taken to cancel the refueling operations through the Master Card, starting from the middle of this month for cars that use those cards and motorcycles, and for requiring their holders to obtain a temporary filling card in preparation for the settlement of their conditions, and he asked the concerned ministries to continue the procedures for following up on cars that have stopped working and that have received their allocations. Through the electronic card, in a way that contributes to controlling the distribution of oil derivatives and optimally managing the available quantities.
The Council assigned the Ministries of Agriculture, Internal Trade and Consumer Protection to take the necessary measures to import the crops of protected crops, especially tomatoes, directly from farmers and distribute them to the governorates through the Syrian Trade halls to ensure farmers' rights and to provide the material at reasonable prices.
The council approved the formation of joint committees with the aim of monitoring agricultural lands and protecting them from fires. Their membership includes representatives of the local or administrative authority and the Agricultural Society in addition to the mayor or the mayor of the village and the competent forest station.
The Council requested the Ministry of Higher Education to set up a program to compensate for the educational loss of university students, and stressed that the ministries provide support to the Ministry of Education for the success of the primary and secondary education certificate examinations, as the Minister of Education indicated that the number of students applying for the exams was 566566, of whom 307 thousand applied for the basic education certificate examinations, while the number of centers reached Exam 4,855 centers are working to provide their logistical needs.
The Council reaffirmed the need to monitor prices, control markets, activate the work of the local committees formed in the governorates and provide the necessary support to them to carry out their tasks in preventing violations, stressing the importance of cooperation with friendly countries in the economic fields, targeting new export markets and providing the necessary support to enhance the role of the private sector in supporting the export process. .
