The weather near the port of Japan is hot and it is gradually entering summer.
The Observatory predicts that as the high-altitude anticyclone strengthens, the weather in coastal areas will gradually improve later this week. A southerly airstream will bring hot weather to the area from the weekend to early next week, but there will be showers in some areas.
For four consecutive days starting from Friday (7th), the temperature in the urban area is as high as 31 degrees Celsius. On Friday, the temperature in many areas such as Sheung Shui is expected to be as high as 34 degrees.
In addition, a trough of low pressure will once again bring unstable weather to southern China in the middle of next week. Next Wednesday (12th) and Thursday (13th) will be mostly cloudy with a few showers and thunderstorms in some areas.

According to the Observatory, a southerly airstream is affecting the coast of Guangdong.
At the same time, the trough of low pressure that brought unstable weather to the northern part of South China is gradually moving southward and is expected to approach the coastal areas of South China this evening (4th).
It is forecasted to be mainly cloudy today with some showers in some areas.
Sunny and hot during part of the day, with slight to gentle southerly winds.
As of 12 o'clock in the afternoon, the peaks are 30 degrees or above in many districts, 30.1 degrees are recorded in the Observatory, and 32.4 degrees in Dameitou.

Tomorrow (5th) is the "Li Xia" in the 24 solar terms, which means that summer is officially coming and the temperature will rise significantly.
The Observatory looks forward to a generally cloudy day tomorrow with a few showers and sunshine for a short period of time during the day. The temperature will be between 25 and 30 degrees.
The Observatory also predicted that it was generally fine and hot near the weekend.
It was generally fine and hot on Friday, with 34 degrees higher in Sheung Shui and Ta Kwu Ling.
On Friday, the temperature reached 31 degrees for four consecutive days. Next Sunday (9th) Mother’s Day is expected to be sunny and hot during part of the time, with showers in some areas. The temperature in Sheung Shui is also expected to be as high as 33 degrees, reaching a hot level.
