The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has renewed its demand for the UN Security Council to assume its legal and moral responsibilities towards the continuing crimes of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people and implement the relevant UN resolutions, foremost of which is Resolution 2334, which calls for a halt to settlements.

The Foreign Ministry confirmed in a statement today carried by Wafa Agency that settlement is a crime in accordance with international law that rises to the level of a war crime and a crime against humanity, noting that it is one of the most prominent files that the State of Palestine referred to the International Criminal Court for official investigation in order to hold those responsible accountable, stressing the need for the court to speed up its investigations into this.
