In Florida, they found a spider similar to a tarantula.
It is a rare species called Pine Rockland, which lives in the Florida Everglades and has only been seen a handful of times since the 1920s. According to a biology expert, it got its name from the habitat where it is found, a rocky area of pines in the south of that state.
This arachnid is one of 33 new species to be added to the genus Ummidia, which are trapdoor spiders.
