A variant of the new crown pneumonia virus has entered Hong Kong, and cases of variants have appeared in the community.
Tracking the whereabouts of patients reveals many common points. Three of them were imported cases from Dubai, the Philippines and India. They were diagnosed only after completing the quarantine and entering the community, and their footprints are also all over Hong Kong.
After several days of investigations by the Department of Health, it was found that some patients had been to Tung Chung on the same day.

So far, three of the patients with the variant virus have arrived in Hong Kong from other places, and the diagnosis was only discovered after completing the quarantine.
A 29-year-old Indian businessman (Case No. 11643) arrived in Hong Kong on flight EK384 from Dubai on March 18 and completed quarantine at the Ramada Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui on the 8th of last month. On the same day, he stayed at the residence of a friend of Burgarth Building in Jordan. He was on the 16th. He planned to leave Hong Kong, so he went to Yau Ma Tei for a test. The diagnosis was confirmed on the 17th.
The 38-year-old Filipino foreign domestic helper (Case No. 11730) took flight 5J272 from the Philippines to Hong Kong on March 27. The quarantine was completed at the Ramada Hotel Sai Ying Pun on the 16th of last month. On March 17 he went to the employer at 8 Kennedy Road, Mid-Levels. Kennedy Terrace's residence was later diagnosed on the 24th.
A 28-year-old Indian housewife arrived in Hong Kong from Delhi, India on the UK6395 on the 4th of last month. After completing the quarantine at the Regal Oriental Hotel in Kowloon City on the 25th, she returned to her home in Meiyuan Building, Tsim Sha Tsui. The test result on the 30th was "unsure". This week Day (2nd) further tests were initially positive.

Indian businessmen traveled to Tsim Sha Tsui, Central, and Cheung Chau during their one-month stay in Hong Kong. On the 11th of last month, they accompanied their Filipino girlfriend (Case No. 11672) to Tung Chung Citygate and Curry Lounge, a seawall restaurant. The 39-year-old foreign domestic helper (Case No. 11773) in Block 11 of the Jade Bay Villas in the Caribbean has been to Citygate on the same day, but it is unknown whether they have contact with the two of them. The foreign domestic helper was diagnosed afterwards, and 10 of his employers A month-old baby girl was infected later.

The Indian businessman’s girlfriend is of Filipino descent. She works as a nurse at the Optimal Family Health Clinic in Central Plaza, and went to work on the last day of the 15th of last month.
As for the Filipino domestic helper at No. 8 Kennedy Road, after arriving at the employer’s house on the 17th of last month, he had visited the Immigration Plaza in Central, Wan Chai Immigration Building and Kam On Building in Central. The Department of Health found after tracking that the foreign domestic helper stayed in the quarantine hotel. The neighboring room also has N501Y.
As for the foreign domestic helpers in Tung Chung, she has always been in Hong Kong and has no travel history. She mainly buys food in and out of Tung Chung, and goes to the St. Thomas Apostle Church in Tsing Yi every Sunday.
