New corona rules in Bavaria - Söder explains easing and terminates Sonderweg

First report from May 3:

Munich - Prime Minister Markus Söder once again proved at a press conference * on Monday (May 3) that the Free State of Bavaria is going its own way with the regulations relating to the coronavirus *.

So he promised surprisingly new guidelines and possible openings from next Monday (May 9th).

In all Bavarian districts with a seven-day incidence * below 100 for several days, more openings may be possible in the future.

According to the current figures *, this would currently be the case in 13 districts in the Free State.

From Pentecost, holiday apartments and hotels will be able to open their doors again in these regions.

Söder also offers the districts prospects for outdoor catering, theater and cinema.

The prerequisites for this are a hygiene concept as well as a negative test result and an appointment.

Corona: Vaccinated and convalescent people are no longer affected by contact and exit restrictions

An important change is to apply throughout the Free State in the future: not only those who have been completely vaccinated * but also those who have recovered should be treated the same way when shopping as people with a negative test *.

In addition, these two groups will soon no longer be affected by the exit and contact restrictions.

The wearing of FF2 masks * as well as the distance requirement in shops remain in place for everyone.

Further relaxation: Instead of an incidence of 100, elementary schools may in future remain open in all classes up to a value of 165 - as provided for in the federal emergency brake.

In higher schools, distance teaching remains with an incidence value of over 100.
