The Chinese University of Hong Kong clashed on Bridge Two the year before, and the case of 3 men and 1 woman accused of riots continues today.

A female junior high school student who is studying a double bachelor of Chinese literature and education argues that the incident occurred when Japan went to the library to rush for homework. Since social media knew that there was a student representative near the second bridge, she walked to the second bridge after lunch to find out what happened. On the way, someone distributed pig mouths, blindfolds and other supplies to her. After walking near the No. 2 Bridge, she felt the situation at the scene, but was arrested a short while later.

She claimed to have gained inspiration from the scene and created literary works afterwards.

The four defendants in this case are Chen Qixing (21 years old, CUHK student), Li Junhao (24 years old, PolyU student), Zhang Junhao (18 years old, tertiary student) and Deng Xiwen (23 years old, CUHK student), and were charged on November 12, 2019. Participated in the riots around the No. 2 Bridge and Huanhui East Road of the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Chen, Zhang, and Deng were also charged with using masked items, namely goggles, gas masks and canisters; Zhang was again charged with possession of a device that emits laser beams.

Back to school library to catch up with homework that day

The fourth defendant, Deng Xiwen, argued that she was studying for a double degree in Chinese Literature and a Bachelor of Education at the Chinese University. She returned to the school library on the day of the case to catch up with her homework. During the incident, she went to the female worker’s restaurant for lunch. There was a student representative near Bridge No. 2, so she went to Bridge No. 2 after dinner to find out what happened. She originally planned to observe for a while and then go back to catch up with her homework. She did not expect to encounter a dangerous situation.

Someone handed pig mouth blindfolds on the way

She said that someone handed her pig mouths, eye masks, gloves and other materials on the way, and shortly after she went to the scene to observe, tear gas appeared at the scene, so she put on pig mouths and eye masks.

She devoted herself to feeling the situation at the scene, but was arrested shortly afterwards. Afterwards, she took inspiration from the scene and created two literary works.
