The Ministry of Education requested its directorates in the governorates to fully adhere to the health emergency plan during the general examinations that begin on Monday the 31st of May for the general secondary certificate with its scientific and literary branches and the Sharia secondary certificate, and on Sunday the 30th of it for the Sharia Basic Education and Preparatory Certificate, in the interest of the health and safety of students And students and workers in the examination centers.

In a statement to SANA, the Director of School Health at the Ministry of Education, Dr. Hatoon Al-Tawashi explained that the health emergency plan includes specifying a number of 15 to 20 students and two observers in each examination hall to ensure appropriate spatial spacing and sterilization of all examination centers so that the entire building is sterilized (floors, walls, windows and stairs. Bathrooms and furniture) before the exam, in addition to the daily disinfection of the surfaces in the examination center (seats, doors, drawers, bathrooms, desks and tables) after the exam is over and the workers leave the center.

Al-Tawashi indicated that the plan also includes an emphasis on distributing students to the examination centers closest to their homes to help them reach without using transportation, thermal wiping, and sterilizing hands with an alcohol spray or gel for students, observers, delegates and visitors upon entering the examination center, in addition to requiring all observers, administrators and delegates to wear a mask. Throughout the exam period, to ensure their safety

According to Al-Tawashi, the plan allowed students and pupils to enter a small bottle of water while obliging them to wear the muzzle during the exam, provided that this does not affect the proper conduct of the examination process, pointing to the allocation of an administrative room in each examination center to isolate sick students who are confirmed to be infected with the Coronavirus if their health condition allows that after proving The case is scanned with positive PCR by the laboratories of the Ministry of Health, provided that full coordination takes place between the Ministry of Health and the School Health Directorate in these cases.

Al-Tawashi stated that the plan includes the presence of an ambulance in front of each fully equipped school health dispensary, and in the event that this is not possible in some centers, work to secure cars to transport medical teams to the examination centers by the education directorates in the concerned governorates and to equip emergency centers and the health center completely and secure bags The ambulance and the necessary medicines for him with the necessity of full coordination with the Health Directorate regarding the distribution of medical teams, emergency centers and ambulances.

As for students coming from areas where armed terrorist groups exist or from outside Syria (Lebanon) and who are applying for general certification exams, Al-Tawashi mentioned that students coming from terrorist groups' areas of presence and quarantine are hosted in special hosting centers a week before the exam and throughout the exam period and they sit for their exams while fully adhering to the precautionary measures. In the examination center and the emphasis on adherence to precautionary measures by teachers and administrators who deal with them, whether in the hosting center or in the examination center, with the allocation of a medical team from the School Health Department and the Health Directorate in the concerned governorate to conduct daily medical examination for them and take appropriate measures regarding patients

As for students coming from Lebanon, Al-Tawashi stressed the need to ensure that they bring a negative PCR analysis for the Coronavirus when they cross the border, provided that the Syrian Ministry of Health conducts a scan and a PCR analysis before they return to Lebanon after the exam ends and they are hosted in special centers and a medical team from the School Health Department and the Health Directorate is assigned In the concerned governorate to conduct daily medical examination for them and take appropriate measures regarding patients.
