Mourinho debuted unbeatable with Tottenham, will he be champion?

Portuguese coach José Mourinho will coach Roma starting next season in what will be his return to Italian football after 11 years.
Roma confirmed the arrival of «Mou» for the next three years, the same day that they announced the departure of Paulo Fonseca.

Mourinho will join the club from the start of the 2021-22 season with a contract that will run until June 30, 2024.
The Portuguese, who was fired in mid-April by Tottenham Hotspur from the English Premier League after just 17 months in office, said the passion of Roma supporters was one of the reasons for accepting the project.
"The incredible passion of the Roma fans convinced me to take the job and I can't wait to start next season," the 58-year-old said in a statement.

Mourinho is one of the most successful coaches in soccer having won 25 major trophies in his career to date.
The Portuguese coached in Italy with Inter Milan, a team with which he won a treble in the 2009-10 season, including the Champions League in the 2010 Madrid final against Bayern Munich.

"A great champion who has won trophies at all levels, José will bring tremendous leadership and experience to our ambitious project," said Roma President Dan Friedkin and Vice President Ryan Friedkin.
Mourinho is one of the best known and most successful coaches in the game and has coached great clubs such as Real Madrid, Manchester United, Inter Milan and Chelsea.

Mourinho's successes
Mourinho's great deeds began in his native Portugal with Porto, a team with which he reached 6 titles, including the Champions League in the 2003-2004 season.
England then turned to the Portuguese and Chelsea was his first adventure in the Premier League, the same one that lasted five years and from which he came out with 6 titles in his record.
Mourinho returned to Chelsea in 2013 and won two more titles.
Before completing his second cycle with the "blues", Mourinho had a stint in Italy and Spain.
Inter Milan was his first stop in 2008 and again a triplet enlarged the Portuguese legend.
It was in the 2009-2010 season, when they won Serie A, the Coppa Italia and the Champions League.
Five titles in total to go to Real Madrid the following year.
With the merengue team, Mourinho added three more titles;
1 League, 1 Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup.
But perhaps he will be most remembered for Pep Guardiola's bitter rivalry against Barcelona.

With Guardiola he met again in England, directing Manchester United between 2016 and 2017 and later Tottenham.
At United he reached three titles, including the Europa League, his fourth international title.
With Tottenham Mourinho ended a streak of titles in each of the teams he has coached since 2002.
