What is happening in Colombia?
Tax reform, protests, militarization of cities and threats to the UN
The mayor clarified that only the coexistence managers, dialogue mediators, human rights commissions and the metropolitan police are the entities that are in charge of security in Bogotá and emphasized that she has not called for the militarization of the city.
Given that we have information on possible vandalism at Stations and URIs where 2,825 detainees are overcrowded, we have asked MinDefensa that the Public Force help us guard these detention centers and prevent them from putting the lives of those deprived of liberty at risk.
