Israel attacked targets in Syria tonight (Wednesday) in the areas of Latakia and Masiaf, the country's media reported tonight.

According to Syrian television, one Syrian citizen was killed and two others were injured.



Air defense systems were reportedly activated and "enemy missiles" were intercepted, and explosions were heard in the skies of the areas of the two cities.

The official news agency SANA and Syrian television also reported that the Israeli attack hit a civilian plastic materials warehouse, and that the forces were able to take control of the fire that broke out on the spot.
