A specific group continues to be tested for several months, an average of 1 out of 10,000 people is diagnosed

The government requires certain groups such as market stalls, cold store employees, foreign domestic helpers, construction workers, couriers and security guards to be continuously tested.

From November 15, 2020 to the 28th of last month, the specific group tested about 1.71 million samples, that is, about 10,400 samples were tested every day, and the positive rate was 0.01%, that is, an average of 10,000 people were tested and one confirmed person was found.

The government stated that it will regularly review the coverage and frequency of testing for specific groups based on the latest epidemic risk assessment.
