Emmanuel Macron had the privilege of celebrating many historic anniversaries in four years in office.
And this May 5, 2021 gives him a new opportunity to do so: Napoleon Bonaparte died exactly two hundred years ago today.
The Emperor of the French, who (like everyone else) was not perfect, is what is called a “controversial figure”.
The exercise will therefore not be easy for the Head of State.
