Hubble Telescope captures the formation of a planet for the first time

The Hubble telescope was able to capture for the first time how a gaseous exoplanet the size of Jupiter forms.

With a technique that allows the telescope's camera to block the light emitted by the star that orbits this planet, it was possible to see how extremely hot gases are integrated into the composition of this new celestial body.
