Today, the joint Iraqi forces began a large-scale security operation to pursue the remnants of the terrorist organization "ISIS" in Nineveh Governorate, in the north of the country.
"A joint force from the Iraqi army and the Popular Mobilization Forces carried out a raid and search operation to pursue ISIS cells in the Tal Afar district of Nineveh governorate," the Popular Mobilization Media said in a statement carried by Alsumaria News, adding that the operation included inspecting the villages of Tawila Bash, Subaiya, Sayer and Mir Qasim of the judiciary.
The Iraqi forces continue their operations to pursue the remnants of "ISIS" terrorists in various Iraqi regions.
