This Tuesday morning around 6.30am, while passing under the Léopold Sédar Senghor bridge in the center of Nantes (44), a young woman of 19 was stabbed by an individual who fled, as

According to the victim's statements, her attacker put his hand on her shoulder as she walked.
"She then turned around, then stepped back in fear before realizing that she was hit in the abdomen,"
said the Nantes police.
The suspect then dropped a knife on the ground and fled in an unknown direction.

Quickly dispatched to the scene, the firefighters were able to take charge of the young woman, a medical student.
Her vital prognosis is not engaged and the latter should be heard this Wednesday by investigators.
Also at the scene of the incident to make the first findings, the forensic officers recovered the knife and placed it under seal.
At this time and according to the latest information from the police, the suspect has not yet been apprehended.
