Prosecuted for "contempt" and "rebellion", rapper Ademo released by court

Member of the rap duo PNL, Ademo was arrested for rolling a joint in the streets of the 14th arrondissement of the capital.


Rapper Ademo, from the PNL group, was released Wednesday May 5 by the Paris Criminal Court of prosecution for "contempt" and "rebellion", after his eventful arrest by the police in September 2020, AFP learned from source close to the file.

In this case, the Paris prosecutor's office had requested, during the hearing on April 14, two months in prison, to be carried out under an electronic bracelet, five months in prison suspended, and a 1,000 euros fine against the musician of 34 years.
