The competent authorities in Homs seized a public car containing large quantities of narcotic hashish in the southwestern countryside of Homs and arrested two persons in flagrante delicto.
A source in the competent authorities stated to the SANA correspondent that “as a result of careful follow-up and the information available by searching and investigating the movements of persons suspected of transporting and trading in narcotic substances, a periodical from the competent authorities seized a public car of the type“ Saba ”with a large quantity of hashish and Captagon pills in the southern countryside of Homs. Al-Gharbi was placed in the engine room and in the doors, which consisted of 170 palm of marijuana and 100 bags of Captagon pills.
During the initial investigation with the driver, he admitted that he wanted to transport the drugs to the city of Homs, and based on the information he provided, the person who was waiting to receive the drugs was arrested.
