And to try to bounce back during the next big race, the Jacques Vabre double-handed transatlantic race scheduled for next November, he has chosen Yann Eliès as co-skipper.

This race will also be the last of the Vendéen under the colors of Arkéa and Paprec who have announced "to strengthen their commitment to sailing with the launch of an offshore racing structure from 2022 which will be intended to carry a new competitive project. and responsible for the Vendée Globe 2024 ”.
