“What is Freising's biggest laughing stock?” The musician and cabaret artist Norbert Bürger asked himself this question.

The satirical answer is now on Youtube.

Freising

- He is a German cabaret prize winner and has received, among other things, the coveted Passau executioner's ax: Norbert Bürger (53) is a musician, composer and satirist. Until recently he was a permanent member of the Munich Lach- und Schießgesellschaft ensemble. Someone like him looks around, looks at his fellow human beings on the proverbial mouth. Even in times of Corona - in times when as an artist you can think about God and the world outside of work. On the whole, but also on the very small and what is happening right in front of your nose.

This also happened in connection with the Spatz-Satire show, which has the significant title “What is Freising's greatest laughing number?”.

The self-produced video clip contains 15 contributions.

Outstanding topics include the Freising pedestrian zone, which is not for citizens, a clip about the oh-so-bike-friendly cathedral city or the fact that there has been no cinema in Freising for almost eight years.

Bürger has "carefully researched and recorded" the laughing numbers

Basically it is about political satire, badly comical cabaret.

Moderator Toni Hell, an “alter ego” of Bürger and a reference to his fictional character “Bürger from the Hell”, with which he is already part of the inventory in the Schwabing clubhouse, will guide the program of the “Spatz” TV show on YouTube.

The idea for the video clip came to Norbert Bürger because there are always things in Freising "that you can just shake your head about," as he says.

Together with the editorial team of the “Spatz” magazine, they then went to work, carefully researching and recording everything.

Freising's biggest laughing stock: viewers can vote

The result can be seen online this Friday, May 7th, at 6 p.m.

Simply enter “What is Freising's biggest laughing number?” On www.youtube.com and off you go with the weird online pleasure.

“Vote,” that is to say, which of the fifteen sketches about Freising you like best, you can and should, according to the citizens, too.

The result will be announced in a new video about two weeks after publication.

“I think that's a nice thing to watch,” says Bürger for the bitterly angry TV show on the Internet.

Now a complicated rescue operation is pending.

The Freisinger Stadtwerke are building an energy center on Angerstrasse, which will soon supply a 450-residential district with regenerative energy.

This step is as courageous as it is extraordinary: In the midst of the pandemic, a woman from Kirchdorf is daring to set up her own business.

And is absolutely happy with it.
