The declining number of infections over the past few days gives reason to be optimistic that the incidence is falling.

From Tuesday, easing could therefore take effect in the district.

District

- The 7-day incidence in the district has been below 100 since Wednesday and District Administrator Christoph Göbel was confident in a press conference that this downward trend would continue.

Means: From Tuesday, the corresponding easing will come into force.

And then the alternating lessons at the secondary schools will start again.

There are already some reliefs for those who have been vaccinated and those who have recovered. For example, they are exempt from the obligation to test when visiting shops. However, Göbel fears that there will be some difficulties here, especially with those who have recovered. Because they too have to prove their corona infection with a PCR test. This must be at least 28 days old, but not more than six months ago. "It will be difficult for business people to control that," believes Göbel. Few people would know the regulations that well. Also, many convalescents would not have received this PCR test certificate at all. According to Göbel, you can contact the health department for this - or, for the sake of simplicity, simply do a quick test. Göbel is pleased with the test capacities in the district: "Around 100,000 rapid tests can take place per week."

Over 100,000 district citizens vaccinated for the first time

The vaccination is also making progress: 103,983 rural district citizens have been vaccinated so far, of which 28,676 are already fully vaccinated.

Around 13,000 people were vaccinated by the general practitioners, "that's remarkable," says Göbel.

His wish: "Every doctor who can vaccinate should be allowed to vaccinate." So far, only general practitioners and specialists have been involved.

There are still around 10,000 people in priority level 2 who are not listed as having been vaccinated.

Here Göbel fears a lot of duplicates and points out again: "If you have been vaccinated by your family doctor, please delete your BayImco account so that others can get a move quickly." 000 district citizens have registered at this stage in the vaccination portal.

The vaccination centers currently still have a lot to do with people under the age of 60 who have received their first vaccination with Astrazeneca - and who are no longer vaccinated with it according to Stiko's specifications.

"We are currently calling those affected and asking whether they also want to get the second vaccination with Astrazeneca or, as suggested by Stiko, with an MRNA vaccine," explains Gerhard Bieber, spokesman for Johanniter, who run the Oberhaching vaccination center.

If you opt for the MRNA vaccine, the interval between vaccinations is extended to twelve (instead of nine) weeks.
