The President of the Union of Arab Communities in Latin America, “FIARAP America”, Alfredo Darwish Gutierrez, affirmed that holding the presidential elections on time is evidence of Syrians ’adherence to the independence of their national decision and the unity and sovereignty of their country.
During his meeting with the Syrian ambassador to Cuba, Dr. Idris Mia, at the headquarters of the Syrian embassy in Havana, Gutierrez stressed the need to lift the unilateral coercive measures and the unjust criminal siege against the Syrian people, expressing the organization’s solidarity with Syria in the face of the terrorist military and economic war it is facing and continuing support to expel all forces Illegally located on its territory.
In turn, Dr. Mia assured that the Syrians in their homeland and countries of alienation will prove again and through their intense participation they reject all attempts to disrupt the presidential election, which comes as a culmination of the progress of achievements and victories achieved by Syria in the face of the unjust global war against it.
Dr. Mia thanked the organization for its positions in support of Syria, stressing the importance of the role that can be played through its solidarity with Syria.
