Conquer five national titles at the youth Criteria (50 sl, 100 sl, 200 sl, 400 sl and 100 breaststroke) and smash two Italian R1 records by swimming the 50 freestyle in 26 "1 and the 100 freestyle in 56" 76: protagonist of the sporting exploit is Valentina Procaccini, class 2008 - arrived at CC Aniene on loan from Hurricane of Pescara - temporarily moved to Rome to return to compete despite the pandemic.

The records of the event belonged to Silvia Di Pietro (26 "31) - achieved in 2006 - and Maria Ginevra Masciopinto (57" 38).

In the 200 sl the Procaccini nearly reached the third record, missing Alice Uberti by 9 cents.

Valentina begins swimming at the age of 10, after becoming national champion of Aquatron, following in the footsteps of her older twin sisters Adriana and Alice, thanks also to the passion for sport of her father Antonio, a former basketball and handball player. It was he who, last November, in consideration of the fact that in Abruzzo there were no competitions on the calendar and that many swimming pools were closed due to the pandemic, he decided to bring Valentina to Rome at the Aniene: the positive response on the abilities of the girl c 'it had already been in June and the father is forced by the contingency to make a difficult choice, that of dividing the family in two to give the daughter the opportunity to experience a unique experience, that of training with champions of the caliber of Quadarella and Pilato.

After having found temporary accommodation in the capital, the Cuban mother Clemirt will stay with Valentina, while the father will take care of the twins by staying in Pescara and commuting on weekends: for the school, instead, we rely on the Liceo Maior in Pescara, which has even an eighth grade, with distance learning. However, all plans are upset by a complication, Covid arrives in the family: Antonio and Clemirt get sick, their daughters go into isolation. The departure for Rome, however, is only postponed from 1st to 23rd December: in a few months Valentina grows and improves exponentially, swimming faster and faster, until the apotheosis of the youth Criteria.
