The well-known collector Ge Shike suspected of falling into the London gold scam. Two years ago, he filed a claim for more than 300 million yuan from multiple people.

The court has issued an order to prohibit the defendants from transferring the assets involved and to disclose the whereabouts of the money.

Only one of the men violated the court order and failed to disclose the whereabouts of 15 million yuan. The court earlier ruled that he contempt the court.

When the case was sentenced in the High Court today (6th), the judge sentenced the man to 6 months imprisonment, but the sentence was suspended for 14 days. The defendant must disclose the information within two weeks, otherwise Ge can apply to the court for execution of the imprisonment.

The plaintiff is Ge Shike, and the defendant involved in the case is Chen Liangxing.

The plaintiff alleged that 15 million yuan of the case involved was deposited into Chen's account.

Earlier, the court issued an order requiring Chen to inform the plaintiff of the whereabouts of the 15 million yuan, but Chen did not disclose it.

The High Court ruled in Chen's absence in his hearing in February this year to contempt the court, and Chen Jinyou appeared in court.

The plaintiff claims that the money has been removed

The plaintiff alleges that Chen deliberately and continuously violated the duty of disclosure, and he did not plead for the disclosure or contempt the court, or deposit any affidavit.

The plaintiff also revealed that the 15 million yuan in Chen's account had been transferred, and the plaintiff had no further information to investigate the whereabouts of the money.

Chen, who was not represented by a lawyer, apologized in court and explained that he had contacted a lawyer to deal with it, but because he could not afford the lawyer's fees, he did not hire a lawyer and did not deposit an affidavit.

Official probation, but if he doesn’t disclose it, he can go to jail

After hearing the submissions, the judge sentenced Chen to 6 months' imprisonment, but the sentence was suspended for 14 days, and Chen was required to disclose the information requested by the plaintiff within 14 days.

If he fails to disclose the whereabouts of the money involved, the plaintiff can apply to the court to execute Chen's imprisonment.
