Regional campaign or presidential campaign?
The question arose, in Brittany, this Thursday afternoon.
Marine Le Pen was in Trinité-sur-Mer, in Morbihan, officially to launch a tour of France for the regional elections in June.
She also took advantage of a press point in her father's home town to announce the rallying, as head of the RN list in Morbihan, of the Breton businessman Florent de Kersauson, brother of the navigator. Olivier, and longtime friend of the Le Pen family.

The 71-year-old man explained that he joined the RN - without taking his card - out of “disgust” of the Republicans, for whom he “voted for 40 years”.
"I voted for Marine Le Pen for the first time in 2017. I did not trust Emmanuel Macron" and "today the image of the RN has changed", he argued.
Immigration and insecurity
This press point had above all the appearance of a presidential campaign, both in terms of the themes addressed and the offensive tone. Marine Le Pen spoke at length, in front of the press, about her favorite subject: insecurity. And after the death of a police officer, killed in Avignon on Wednesday during an operation to fight against narcotics, his hook was all found. "We all have the feeling that the authority of the State is at a level of disintegration probably never reached", began the candidate for the Elysee. And to assure: "I will be the president who embodies the return and the restoration of the authority of the State".
Bouncing on the drama of Avignon, Marine Le Pen even unfolded part of his presidential program. "We must start again on minimum sentences, it is necessary that those who are foreigners and commit crimes and misdemeanors can no longer do so, [...] by being sent back to their country of origin on release from prison", a- she advanced, affirming that she would not have "the hand that trembles against crime and delinquency."
The president of the RN took advantage of this press conference to address another theme which is dear to her, that of immigration, affirming that "massive and anarchic immigration" was "the breeding ground for the spectacular worsening of insecurity. […] To regain control of our neighborhoods, we must stop immigration, ”she insisted. Before directly questioning the Head of State: "What is inadmissible on the part of Emmanuel Macron is to do nothing".
