A tribute to the memory of the martyrs' holiday, today, the Governorate of Damascus countryside, in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense, honored a number of the families of the martyrs, during a ceremony held at the Conference Palace that included artistic performances on martyrdom and its greatness.

During the ceremony, the musical group (Tarab Dahab) presented a group of patriotic songs led by the maestro (Buraq Tanari), such as (Write Your Name Oh My Country), (Ay Ya Sham), (My Country), (Your Banners Al-Aali) and (Ya Syria) in addition to a number of Musical compositions that glorify martyrdom and the martyr, while the poet Safouh atelier presented a poem in which he explained the immortal status of the martyr.

SANA met a number of the martyrs' families, as Muhammad Yusuf al-Hussein, the father of the martyr Ahmed al-Hussein, carrying a picture of his son, confirmed that the martyr is a symbol of everything beautiful, and as much as his son’s testimony made him sad, it gave him strength and pride to continue his path, while Abd al-Nur Diab, the father of the martyr Asaad, showed that the blood of the martyrs revived Syria directed Greetings of love to all the brave Syrian Arab Army who are still on the battlefields.

Khaled Muhammad Jaber, the father of the martyr Suleiman, said, “The homeland is precious and it is worth sacrificing everything for us to remain dear and proud.” This was confirmed by Hasna Al-Hussein, the mother of the martyrs Muhammad and Mamoun Al-Hussein, that the memory of the martyrs' holiday is the most precious in her heart and she will not be stingy to offer everything she has as a sacrifice for the homeland. Adham Mishmash said that the martyr will remain immortal, because Syria has won with their sacrifices, and peace and goodness have returned to most of its parts.

The wife of the martyr Hussein Hassan Khader confirmed that her husband’s testimony will remain a medal on her chest and raise her children in the love of the homeland and the values ​​of belonging and loyalty. The wife of the martyr Jihad Abbas agreed, and she said that she would do everything she could to complete her husband’s message through her children.

The two children Laith and Hala Tanbekji, the sons of the martyr Muhammad Mohiuddin Tanbekji, indicated that they strive to be an example and a model in their morals and studies, so that they can realize the dream of their father, who sacrificed the most precious possession of what he possessed as a sacrifice for the homeland.

The governor of Damascus countryside, Eng. Moataz Abu Al-Nasr Jamran, confirmed in a speech during the celebration that the governorate continues to support the families of the martyrs and that the honor is the least that can be offered to the families of the martyrs because that will not fulfill their right and their status.

In a similar speech between the Director of the Directorate of Martyrs, Wounded and Missing Affairs in the Ministry of Defense, Major General Nibal Medhat Badr, the honor is a gesture of thanks to the families that have given birth to heroes who have written victories with their blood to keep the Syrian flag flapping, confirming that the martyrs will remain torches of light that guide them and follow in their footsteps.

The honor was attended by the Minister of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform Muhammad Hassan Qatana and Education, Dr. Darem Tabaa, and the Secretary of the Damascus Countryside Branch of the Arab Socialist Baath Party, Engineer Radwan Mustafa.
