Langenbach

- SPD councilor Johannes Hehnen maintains good contacts with the Red Cross in Freising. Then he had the idea of setting up a rapid test center in Langenbach. The BRK signaled readiness, Hehne presented his concern to the local council - and thus met with approval. The administration got stuck behind it, and now we can start. After the preparations in the school gymnasium began on Wednesday, citizens can be tested there free of charge from Saturday. The offer is available three days a week, as Mayor Susanne Hoyer explained in the local council.

This is mainly thanks to the Freising BRK readiness, which provides volunteers for this purpose.

As Hoyer emphasized with the reference to the local building yard, everyone would pull together so that one could get to the start on time.

Made possible by volunteers

There was loud knocking in the committee for the "quick action" in a positive sense. You almost felt like you were in the university lecture hall. “Great!” Shouted Eva Maria Bucksch (FW) appreciatively. Of course, initiator Johannes Hehnen was particularly pleased. "It's great that this is already being implemented after three weeks," he said when asked by FT. The community reacted quickly and found an ideal place in the middle of the town for the test center in the school gym. His thanks went to the Red Cross, above all standby member Paul Eisenmann, who had made the offer and would put it into practice with volunteers. “And that for free too,” as Hehnen emphasized.

In the meantime, everyone was busy in the hall.

Helpers have covered the floor and set up tables.

Partition walls and whatever else is needed should follow.

School caretaker Rainer Schwarzbözl helped BRK on-call manager Markus Schmid and his assistant Ludwig Ossiander with the preparations for the rapid test center.

The first tests have already been unpacked.
