He was only 47 years old.
Hahn has been part of the team of moderators for “Guten Morgen Deutschland” since 2017.
As RTL reports, the TV star died after a short, serious illness.
Before joining RTL, Hahn was one of the faces in the competition program.
For eleven years he moderated the "breakfast television" on Sat.1 and was part of the permanent team until 2016.
In 2017, the native of Leipzig switched to RTL and stood in front of the camera for “Guten Morgen Deutschland”.
Hahn leaves behind three children.
Two of them from a previous relationship with actress Alissa Jung.
He also has another child with his current partner who was only born in May 2019.
