In coordination between the Criminal Security Branch and the Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Lattakia, a warehouse was seized in the countryside of Qardaha, containing 221 bags of flour weighing more than 11 tons, between sifted flour, sugar bran, and supplies flour packed with bags across the east and the Greater Homs Mill.
The Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, Samer Susi, told SANA that a sieve, scale and seaming tools were seized within the warehouse, in addition to a car that was loaded and equipped to trade in materials.
He confirmed that all quantities were confiscated and delivered to the Syrian Foundation for Grain Branch in Lattakia, and the violators were referred to the Criminal Security Branch in Latakia to complete the investigations, to know the source and destination of the flour, and to wax the warehouse with red wax in the first place.
For his part, Captain Osama Eid from the Criminal Security Branch said that through monitoring the people who trade in the material, we received information about the existence of a warehouse in the village of Ain Al-Arous intended to sift flour and trade in the material, and after monitoring the place, 3 people were arrested while they were downloading the material from the warehouse in the returning car To them.
