The permanent representative said: Syria warns once again of the consequences of the Security Council ignoring its responsibilities in the maintenance of international peace and security and its duties in dealing seriously and promptly with such repeated Israeli attacks on Syrian lands, and Syria affirms that it maintains its right and duty guaranteed by international legitimacy to use all appropriate means in order to repel Israeli attacks and protect the unity, independence and territorial integrity of its territories.

In the conclusion of his message, Sabbagh stressed that Syria renews its demand to the Security Council to carry out its responsibilities within the framework of the Charter .. foremost among which is its responsibility for the maintenance of international peace and security .. and in implementing and implementing its relevant decisions in a comprehensive manner, especially Resolutions: 242 issued in 1967, 338 issued in 1973 and 497 Of 1981 and to take decisive and immediate measures to oblige Israel, the occupying power, to stop its attacks on the territories of the Syrian Arab Republic, end its occupation of the Syrian Arab Golan, and withdraw from all occupied territories to the line of June 4, 1967, stressing the necessity of issuing this message as a document of the Security Council.
