In the midst of the second wave of coronavirus and in full tension due to the shortage of vaccines, there are

at least ten provinces that have serious delays in the immunization campaign.

These are districts that have received the corresponding doses according to the official diagram, but they are not able to apply them with the speed that even the Casa Rosada has been demanding.

According to data from the public vaccination monitor, which is updated every day and depends on the Ministry of Health,

the province with the most delays in the immunization campaign is Misiones,

governed by Oscar Herrera Ahuad.

Until this Thursday at 6 in the morning he had received 267,350 vaccines and applied 172,959.

It has 35.3% of unused vaccines.

Data monitor vaccination are updated daily and although the percentages may change with every

passing day serve as an image of the situation that district.

Below Misiones

appears Chubut,

the province governed by Mariano Arcioni that has been undergoing a political and economic crisis for months.

He has 33.1% of the 157,956 doses he received without applying.

This week, it was even known that the Chubut national deputy, Santiago Igón, 43, was immunized irregularly.

A reference of La Cámpora in that province, they assure that he was noted as "health personnel" to receive the first dose of Sputnik V.

It is closely followed by

Santiago del Estero,

commanded by Gerardo Zamora

with 33% of the vaccines received without applying.

The province already reached 216,805 145,157 doses and applied only to the least until Thursday.

Santa Cruz, governed by Alicia Kirchner, appears in the first platoon of the provinces with the most problems to vaccinate.

Of the total doses he received, about 93,702, he still needs to apply 32.9%.

Claims are growing in the province to speed up immunization.

Doctors and even the educational sectors have been asking for vaccines.

It is not a minor fact, since province K has not had face-to-face classes for 16 months.

The arrears do not distinguish regions or political signs.

There are provinces in the south, north and even the center of the country with problems to immunize. For example,

Entre Ríos,

the province managed by Gustavo Bordet,

has yet to apply 32.7% of the 353,301 vaccines it received.

The slowness of the districts to vaccinate contrasts with the official requests for greater speed. Even President Alberto Fernández himself had assured on April 9, when he established the first restrictions in the framework of the second wave, that along with the measures that included the closure of schools in the AMBA, efforts to immunize would be duplicated. "

In the middle of April, enough doses will be coming in to accelerate the vaccination rate,"

said the President at the time.

Beyond the fact that the distribution of doses is a task carried out by the national government, immunization campaigns remain in the hands of the districts.

"There are provinces that are more efficient than others", they

accept in the Government.

"When we detect cases where vaccination can be improved, we try to bring together proposals or the necessary knowledge," they describe from Casa Rosada.

Corrientes,

in the north of the country and governed by the radical Gustavo Valdés, has not yet applied 28.3% of the vaccines it received.

Below is

Catamarca,

managed by the Peronist Raúl Jalil: he received 108,925 doses and still needs to apply 26.6%.

Chaco

also has trouble catching up on vaccinations.

The province commanded by

Jorge Capitanich has a stock of 71,711 unexpired vaccines, 26.5% of the total

received.

Jujuy and San Juan are also on the podium of the 10 provinces with the most delays.

The one governed by the radical leader Gerardo Morales needs to apply 26.3% of the doses that came to him.

And to the one directed by the Peronist Sergio Uñac 25.9% of a total of 306,050 at least until this Thursday at 5 in the morning.

Contrary to the delays in the vaccination schedule, there are other districts that have been accelerating immunization.

The City of Buenos Aires governed by Horacio Rodríguez Larreta is the one that shows the best numbers.

Of the total doses he received,

only 6.8% needed to be applied

.

La Pampa, commanded by the Peronist Sergio Ziliotto, is also coming at a good pace.

It remains for him to apply 9.7% of the vaccines that he received.

Even the province of Buenos Aires governed by Axel Kicillof has good numbers.

Of the total of 4,057,304 vaccinations received, 18.8% is missing.
