Germany recorded 18,485 new cases of the emerging coronavirus during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number to three million and 491988.
According to the latest data from the Robert Koch Institute for Infectious Diseases, the total death toll from the disease in Germany reached 84,410, after 284 new cases were recorded.
In Thailand, 2044 new infections and 27 deaths from the virus were recorded, bringing the total number of infections to 78,855 and deaths to 363 since the outbreak of the pandemic began in the country last year.
In turn, China announced 13 new cases of the virus yesterday, compared with five cases the previous day, all of them coming from abroad.
The total number of injuries on the Chinese mainland reached 90,739, while the number of deaths remained unchanged at 4,636 cases, according to the National Health Commission in China.
