A number of Palestinians suffocated today as a result of the Israeli occupation forces suppressing an anti-settlement demonstration in Beit Dajan village, east of Nablus in the West Bank.
Wafa news agency quoted a member of the Land Defense Committee in Beit Dajan Salim Abu Jaish as saying that the occupation forces fired poison gas canisters at the participants in the demonstration that came out in protest against the occupation’s seizure of swathes of the village’s lands to establish a new settlement outpost, which resulted in a number of them suffocating. .
The village of Beit Dajan witnesses demonstrations every Friday to protest against the occupation’s plans to seize parts of its lands and establish outposts.
