The US police announced the death of a woman and the injury of others when a driver ran over a group of people in a parking lot in Houston, Texas, following a quarrel yesterday.
The Associated Press quoted local police chief Jason Brown as saying that initial investigations indicate that the 20-year-old driver deliberately ran over the crowd outside the "Pinchy Tex Mex" restaurant in the Katy area, killing a 35-year-old woman and wounding several others, including a critical condition. He explained that the driver fled at first and was arrested later.
Houston KTRK television station, citing witnesses, reported that a quarrel took place inside the restaurant and in the parking lot before the group was run over.
