Lapid: Israel needs unity, believes in the good intentions of future partners (Edited by: Aviad Ballali)

Every passing day makes Yair Lapid look more mature, more worthy and more suited to the position of prime minister, which he dreams of long before entering politics. Lapid's conduct is respectful. The peace of mind, the precise messages, the patience, the gentlemanliness and the recognition that the state is more important than him. For Lapid, it is not about language and pressure. He freezes the dream of his life in favor of a guy who won 7 seats (and brings only 6 of them to the deal), because there is no other way to get the country out of the mud.

Why?

Maybe there are more ways?

Let me propose three alternative options: Since Bennett now has only 6 seats, while Lieberman and Gantz are bigger than him and Saar is equal to him, why not Gideon Saar and Avigdor Lieberman unite into a technical bloc of 13 seats, which looks like a much more right-wing ruling party?

Saar will be the first prime minister in rotation on behalf of this bloc.

Lieberman, Minister of Finance.

Such a coalition would be much more balanced.

Bennett will be invited as defense minister and deputy prime minister.

He could agree, or refuse and go to a fifth election, in which he would crash.

Will Lapid do such a thing?

No.

He promised Bennett to go with him to the Take 2 Brothers Alliance, and he would not break the promise unless Naftali would be the one to break it.

The second option also begins with the Saar-Lieberman essay and continues with the ultra-Orthodox.

For it to happen, Lieberman needs to stop the boycott he announced for the ultra-Orthodox and take a pill against nausea.

Or two.

Not to mention another analysis to shorten the thread, after the previous one failed (with Netanyahu).

Saar and Bnei Gantz are acceptable to the ultra-Orthodox and Rabbi Kanievsky.

First storm in rotation, a matter that the ultra-Orthodox will love very much.

Second torch, will love less but get used to it.

Continued rapid connection to the rulers of the government will constitute adequate compensation.

Instead of Bennett, there are Gafni and Litzman, with more seats.

The government is sworn in, Bennett in the opposition, Amichai Shikli is a member of the State Audit Committee.

Is Lieberman capable of such a blatant violation of election promise?

Ask him out well.

I'm scared.

The third alternative is similar, but fundamentally different: the government will be defined as a two-year emergency government, headed by one named Bnei Gantz.

After all, in November he is supposed, in any case, to be prime minister according to the law, which is still in place.

Ganz is acceptable to the ultra-Orthodox, acceptable to the Arabs, acceptable to almost everyone.

It's hard to hate this guy.

Moreover: even Shikli the valued and pure will not be able to say that he will not sit under Ganz.

Bennett's promise was not to sit under a torch.

So here, we brought the Chief of Staff as your request. Any questions?

Acceptable to all factions.

I estimate that none of these options will work.

All forces are now directed to quickly close the original deal and swear government.

This is possible, provided everyone understands that they need to get down from all the trees at once, forget about the ego and yes, violate some silly commitments they made during the campaign.

The government will be sworn in in the Knesset and the next day the sun will rise in the east and set, at the appointed time, in the west.

Only then will we reach the truly difficult, torturous, explosive and so fateful stage: an attempt to explain to the lady that she needs to start packing.

Basically, it's all on the shoulders of Naftali Bennett.

The fact that this guy is not capable of controlling seven MKs, not to make Zehava Gal-On or Ofer Kasif king, but to make himself the prime minister of Israel, is puzzling. 90. Where was he today? Why did Lieberman, I asked, also not really happen in Lapid's faction. The last one who mumbled something was Adi Kol, and where is she now?
