The first lady of the United States, Jill Biden, surprised Colombian teacher Juliana Urtubey with a bouquet of flowers this Thursday: she had just been named United States National Teacher of the Year.

Juliana Urtubey, who has taught classes for 11 years, is a teacher at Kermit R. Booker Sr. Innovative Elementary School in Las Vegas.
