Telephone fraudsters tried their trick in Freising - but were unsuccessful.
The police again point out what to watch out for.

- In the urban area of Freising, citizens have received several calls from false police officers.
The perpetrators told fabricated stories of imprisoned or arrested burglars.
The name of the person called is recorded on a list found there.
“The Freising citizens reacted very well to all known cases and did not reveal any information about their living situation,” reports the real police.
The conversation was ended either by the caller or the Freising citizens.

The police will never ask for any money or ask you to hand over any money or valuables.
The police will never call you on 110.
Do not give any information on the phone.
Just hang up.
