The Goldachhof is an aging gem in Ismaning.

Now the council is considering converting the old courtyard into new living space.

Ismaning

- Everyone wants to change the current situation at Goldachhof.

The historic courtyard ensemble on Mayerbacherstraße has been owned by the Ismaning community for years; the building yard is currently using it as a warehouse.

The SPD and FW have now proposed to the local council to convert the courtyard into apartments.

The idea has a large majority because the CSU had already made such an application in the past.

In 2013 the community took measures to preserve the substance of the Goldachhof and since then the area has been quiet.

Free voters and the SPD want to secure the building with living space in the long term and use it sustainably.

Josef Steinkohl (FWG) emphasized "that the decaying Goldachhof should now be revived".

The community could create living space for its employees and thus receive an advantage when recruiting staff.

An event room?

"We look skeptical"

The municipal council accepted the application, so that the administration now has the task of reviewing conversion options for the Goldachhof. In the application, the applicants from the SPD and FW also expressed the wish that a publicly usable space for meetings and events should be provided on the ground floor of the manor house. Peter Aurnhammer (CSU) could not imagine that: "We are skeptical that there is a need for an event room there." The Goldachhof is too far away from the residential development for this.

In 2013, the CSU submitted an open application to address long-term uses for the Goldachhof “without thinking bans”.

Originally, when the community was bought, the construction of a biogas plant on the site was considered, but the project is on hold due to a lack of profitability.

After the new application, the topic comes back on the table and the majority of the municipal council can well imagine apartments for municipal staff on the site.
