2021-05-08T12:22:01.180Z

As every year, the service will be interrupted on several lines, between June and August, due to the works, causing some inconvenience.

The Ile-de-France rail network never takes a vacation.

Taking advantage of the drop in attendance linked to the summer holidays, numerous track and equipment regeneration operations are once again scheduled.

Details of all the lines concerned will be finalized and communicated in the coming days by SNCF and RATP.

Until then, we are already offering you an overview of the lines mainly affected if you want to anticipate.

RER A

RER B

Please note, it is advisable to check your route on line B this summer before going to the station.

From north to south, many maintenance, renovation and modernization works are planned, with the aim of "improving the robustness of the line and comfort".

The details of the multiple traffic interruptions and station closures can be found on the site www.rerb-leblog.fr/travaux Here is a non-exhaustive summary.

Total interruptions.

On June 5, 6, 26 and 27, train traffic will be completely interrupted between Aulnay-sous-Bois in Seine-Saint-Denis and Charles-de-Gaulle 2 airport. Idem, on June 12 and 13, between Gare du Nord and Aulnay-sous-Bois.

From July 10 to July 23, all day long, between the Guichet and Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse stations in the Yvelines, the construction works of the “drawer of Orsay” in Essonne - a development which should allow the reversal of trains without hindering the passage of other trains - and the commissioning of equipment at Saint-Rémy will involve stopping links in both directions.

From July 24 to August 11: no trains either between Baconnets and Massy-Palaiseau stations in Essonne.

The works to regenerate the structures at the Chartres bridge and the Gallardon bridge and the continued construction of the Orsay drawer will also require the service to be stopped.

From August 10 to 20, between the stations of Palaiseau and Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse, these works in the Orsay drawer will again require the interruption of the passage of trains.

On August 14 and 15, between Gare du Nord and CDG2 Airport, train traffic will be interrupted in both directions throughout the day.

Stations closed.

Stops will not be marked at several stations.

CDG2 airport: July 3 and 4.

Denfert Rochereau: every weekend, from July 24 to August 22.

Luxembourg: July 1 to 31.

And finally, Fontaine-Michalon: June 28 to July 23.

RER C

Unlike in previous years, several axes of the RER C will be affected by the summer works which will take place from July 15 to August 21.

During this period, in both directions of travel, no train will run between the stations of Pontoise (95) and Musée-d'Orsay;

of Versailles-Château-Rive-Gauche (78) and Musée-d'Orsay;

from Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (78) and Musée-d'Orsay;

and Massy-Palaiseau (91) and Pont-de-Rungis.

LINE 6

The rejuvenation of the airline with its unique panoramas of the capital continues. And the inconvenience for regulars too. Thus, between Montparnasse-Bienvenüe and Trocadéro, the metro will not run on this line at all from June 26 to August 27,. From July 20 to 25 inclusive, all day long, this interruption will even extend from Montparnasse-Bienvenüe to Charles-de-Gaulle-Etoile. Replacement buses will run on these routes during these blackout periods.
