"Now, after more than 40 years in the town hall, the time has come to hand over his tasks bit by bit to his successor Alexander Meßner," said press spokeswoman Gabriele Ostertag-Hill.
In the town hall, a conscious decision was made for a transition phase lasting several months in order to take into account the complexity and importance of the managerial position.
Alexander Meßner has the opportunity to familiarize himself with his new area of responsibility with the active support of his predecessor until the end of September.
From Munich via Eichenau to Neufahrn
Ostertag-Hill: "The new managing director will certainly benefit from his extensive and long-term experience in local government." From 1987 to 2015, Alexander Meßner worked as an administrative officer in various areas for the state capital of Munich.
Most recently, the 50-year-old headed general administration at the municipality of Eichenau in the west of Munich.
Alexander Meßner grew up in Freimann.
In the meantime, the Upper Bavarian community of Jesenwang in the Fürstenfeldbruck district has become his home.

In addition, he is a member of the board of trustees of the local Hans Stangl Foundation, whose aim is to promote and support people and corporations in need.
Starting shot last Monday

He really appreciates the fact that he can benefit from the wealth of experience of his predecessor Eduard Sczudlek during the transition period of several months and that he can familiarize himself with the topics and tasks.
