The stranger spoke to the 20-year-old woman, according to a message from the Central Franconian police headquarters *, at around 8:15 a.m. and asked her several times to come with him.

A driver of a black Mercedes noticed the situation, stopped and asked if he could help.

However, the stranger sent the driver on and pretended that the young woman was his ex-girlfriend.

Then he drove away on Merkelsgasse in the direction of Sulzbacher Straße. 

Nuremberg: teacher comes to help young woman - police ask for clues

A short time later, a teacher from the nearby business school was able to come to the young woman's help and threatened the perpetrator that he would call the police. The perpetrator then left in the direction of Rathenauplatz. The unknown man is described as follows: about 1.85 meters tall, about 25 years old and probably of southern origin. He had short, black hair and a three-day beard. He was dressed in black trousers and a black jacket. He wore a white hoodie under his jacket. 

The responsible specialist commissioner of the Nuremberg * criminal police took over the investigation.

It asks the driver of the black Mercedes and the teacher who came to the woman's aid to report.

These and any other witnesses who observed the incident or who could otherwise provide information about the suspect should report to the Central Franconian Criminal Police Service on 0911 / 2112-3333.
