Moscow-Sana

The Russian Ministry of Health has included the "KofiVac" and "Sputnik Light" vaccines in the eleventh issue of the recommendations for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of Coronavirus.

According to a statement issued by the ministry's press service, reported by Sputnik, the document was prepared by doctors taking into account the scientific data and clinical trials conducted by more than 100 specialists by carefully analyzing data related to research results and experience in the use of medicines.

The statement added: Prevention of infection in adults has been completed by using the two vaccines "Coffee Vacc" and "Sputnik Light", while the list of recommended drugs has changed, as hydroxychloroquine has been canceled and human immunoglobulin added.

For patients with Corona who are in the hospital, the use of human immunoglobulin is recommended. For pre-emptive treatment, it is possible to use glucocorticosteroids in powder form for inhalation by adults.

The list of recommendations for treating Corona includes five drugs: "Faviravir, Remdisfer, Human Immunoglobulin, Interferon Alpha and Omifenover."

Yesterday, Russia officially approved the single-dose "Sputnik Light" vaccine against the Corona virus, noting that it is very similar to the first dose of the "Sputnik V" vaccine, but it is not a substitute for it as it is intended to achieve other goals.
