Nuremberg - Officials from the Nuremberg-West police station checked the driver of an e-bike on Thursday afternoon (May 6).
Numerous crimes came to light, as a message from the police headquarters in Middle Franconia * shows.
At around 12:00 p.m., the police checked a 37-year-old e-bike driver on Fürther Strasse in Nuremberg *.
Since the man could not give any plausible explanations about the e-bike he was carrying, the police took a closer look.
Nuremberg: Police found drugs, knives and a pepper spray
Traces could be seen on the e-bike * that reinforced the suspicion of theft.
During a subsequent search of the man, the police officers found various tools, drugs, a knife and a pepper spray, among other things.
The police officers secured the evidence.
Investigations were initiated against the 37-year-old on suspicion of bicycle theft and violations of the Arms and Narcotics Act, among other things.
Nuremberg: Police are looking for e-bike owners
The investigation team of the Nuremberg-West police station is now looking for the owner of the allegedly stolen e-bike.
It is a black e-bike from the Bulls brand (Prophet type).
